Tenant FAQ's

Answers to your common questions

How can I view a property? +
Call our office at 850-910-4300 ex 1. Or call the listing agent directly. We show all of our houses. We do not give out lock box codes over the phone or have prospective tenant take keys out of our office. If a tenant currently occupies the home, we must have an appointment and will need to give the tenant typically 24 hour notice.
How do I fill out the application for a property? +
Go to the Homes For Rent and find the home you want to apply.  Read Rental Criteria carefully,  application fee is non-refundable.
What if I do not meet the requirements for application approval? +
If an applicant does not meet all of our required criteria, we may contact the owner of the property to get an individual approval or denial based on the information that we have obtained. Conditional applications may also be accepted; such conditions may be (but are not limited to) a higher security deposit or certified fund payments only.
How long do I have to come sign my lease after being approved? +
You will have 48 hours to secure a property, approved applicants must fully pay the required security deposit and sign the Rental Lease Agreement. This property would then come off the market.
Can you hold a property for me? +

We can only hold a vacant property for a maximum of 2 weeks with a signed lease and fully paid security deposit.

What is your policy for roommates? +

Roommates are accepted upon owner approval, with a maximum of 3 unrelated adults living at one property. Each roommate must complete and pay for their application prior to approval of all roommates and will require a higher security deposit upon lease signing.

Do your rental properties accept pets? +
Allowing pets is at the discretion of each individual owner. Please take a look at the properties details to see if the property you are interested in accepts pets or not. If pets are accepted, we require a $350 (50.00 non-refundable) pet deposit per pet, with a limit of 2 pets.
Do you accept credit card payments? +

When you become a tenant with ProGo Realty, you will have the opportunity to setup an online account through your Tenant Portal. After registration, you will be able to pay your rent with acceptable credit cards or e-checks.   Convenience fee will apply for credit card payments, e-check are free.

Will I sign a lease? +
Yes. With any of our properties, you will sign a lease that will outline all of our company policies regarding your rental home. You should be sure to read your lease thoroughly and ask any questions that you may have prior to signing the lease.
When and where will I sign a lease? +
We do all our paperwork online and allow for digital signatures.  If you are having trouble accessing a computer, we have a workstation at the office you can use to pull up the lease and access any needed documentation.
What happens if I am late on my rent? +
Rent is due on the 1st,  even if the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday.  Late fees apply on the 2nd of the month.  No grace period.  We pride ourselves in paying the owner on time.
What utility companies will I need to call when I move in? +
When you sign your lease, you will be informed of the utilities that you will be responsible for. This will usually include a combination of power, water, sewer, trash, and gas. Please contact us for a copy of all contact numbers in our area.
